Decision making

There is a line in "Whatever you think, think the opposite" (yah, that book again) : Life is all about decision making. There is no right or wrong decision.

I have been pondering that statement for a long time.

The author, Paul Arden says there is nothing to regret for, because you had made the best decision at that situation, you chose the choice yourself. It seems like it is perfectly logical. But, normally we regret because we have made the wrong decision. Even though you have made the best decision you can at the time, you will still regret when everything go wrong.

Regret is an emotion.

The only way you can do, is to stop regretting and move on. Just laugh at yourself and have a little bit of humour.

Just received the enrolment package from Nan Yang Polytechnic. The deadline is 9th of March, too bad for me. The deadline is far too early. If I have a better choice I won't sign it, but this offer is ahead of the others.Since I cannot foresee my future, I do not know how is my SPM result. Can I get better offers? That's the problem.

No matter what decision I make, accept the offer or not, it is like taking risks or rolling a dice. The price of taking the risk is much bigger than confessing to someone. All I can do is, have faith in God.

  3. oh matty. fingers crossed to you.so what's your decision????? lemme know yeah. and hey whatever risk you decide to take, you're hoping for the best. so don't blame yourself for choosing the wrong thing, ever. because that is once made with the notion that not all things are gonna be perfect. but still i believe in you, and is it acceptable to defer the offer and wait til spm results come out??

  4. I decided not to take it. Haha. I shouldn't consider from the angle that I will have free education. I should know what I really want to be, what I have passion on,and what is my purpose in life.Right?

And I think the offer is not that good. I deserve a better offer.Haha. I will risk it, hoping to get much better offer, even though it might turn out to be "Yang dikejar tidak dapat, yang dikendong keciciran".Haha.
